So, my older brother Jake has been living in Denver Colorado with his family while going to dental school. As a result, I don't get to see him very often. We do use web-cam back and forth which is nice but it's not the same. Anyway, he was in town for a very short trip to see his wife's brother before he left on his mission to Alaska. So, we had one night with him. We all gathered at my sister's house for a BBQ.
I'll post pics later of the kids (who had so much fun together). My sister in law stayed here in town at her moms with her kids. The cousins got to do some fun stuff. My brother had only a short trip because there was no breaks with school but his wife wanted to make a REAL trip out of it. And so she did.
So, my brother met his newest nephew Vin for the first time :-) Aren't they cute?
I love Vin's face with his little hand on the side of his face. He's got personality.

How fun! That's great that he got to meet his sweet little nephew! It's so sad to live far away, I know! But it makes it fun when you get to see each other.
Yes, it makes it that much more exciting.
That's nice that Jake got to come down for a quick visit. He probably needed a little break from school stuff!!

vin is so cute! and he looks so much like sy! that's sad that you don't get to see jake very often. does he ever plan on moving somewhere closer to the rest of the family?
