My Vinny Cuper turned 3 on June 12th. The following Saturday we had a party for him.
During the hot summers in the Arizona deserts, there is only one way to have an outdoor birthday party. It was a very hot day but the party guests didn't even notice. Many of Vin's cousins came for some water fun! The back yard was filled with all kinds of water activities. The big slide was the hot spot for the big cousins. We also had a slip n slide, a fun sprinkler, over 100 water balloons, beach balls, and a kiddie pool. The birthday treat was ice cream bars, fudgesicles, and ice cream sandwiches.
Not only did the kids have a great time playing in the water but as a bonus the back yard lawn, garden, and shade trees got some good irrigation, literally ( I will post more pics of my garden. That has been a fun and rewarding project this summer).
It was fairly simple and really cool way to celebrate a summer birthday. We had to do something to keep everybody cool in this Arizona heat!

What a fun day! Wish we were there to splash around with him on his birthday! Can't believe how fast the kiddos are growing up!
He is so big! I miss you guys... :( Jason refuses to go down there while it is still hot. I hope we can get together in the fall sometime???
