Back to school PARTY

My mother in law does a back to school party for the school aged grandkids every year (she does the most amazing crafts/activities with them). This year was a big surprise. She arranged with moms and dads to back an overnight back bag w/out the kids knowing. So, they knew they were going to the party but they didn't know it was overnight. Last year they took the kids "on a field trip" to McDonalds. That was the first year they went out somewhere. In the years past, she has her house decorated like a classroom and does school related activities at her home.

And this is where they spent 95% of their time there.

Checking into their rooms (there were 2 rooms, papa with the boys (3 total) and grandma with the girls (3 total). There are 10 grandkids total, 4 more boys that weren't old enough yet.

They had so much fun. Man, I never got to go on a

field trip like that when I was a kid.
