I have so much to blog, I don't know where to begin

We've had so much going on that I haven't had sufficient time to get on here and do some serious blogging. I guess I will go in chronological order so I don't forget any of the stuff I want to put on here.

First off, Sy got a hair cut. But not any hair cut, his shortest one yet.

As I was cutting his hair, many things were going through my head. He hates to get his hair cut (it doesn't matter if it is the clippers or scizzors, he just hates it). He also hates to get his hair washed. I do it every other day and he screams. I tried many different techniques like talking him into it, bribing him, to no avail. So, I just do it and he screams. Then there is actually doing his hair. Like before we go somewhere or just getting ready for the day. He runs from me, hides under the table (laughing like it's a game) and will not still for 2 minutes (which is all I need to get it done). So, as I was cutting it, I thought "To heck with it, I'm going to cut it all off. It will be a nice summer cut and it'll grow back within probably two months." I just didn't want to have to be cutting it again in 2-4 weeks because it grows so fast.

When I got done, Sy looked in the mirror, ready to cry and said "But I want to look like you mommy." I looked at him and responded "Well, right now you look like daddy!" (Drew, his dad shaves his head). Man, Sy had so much hair. When I was done, I think there was more on the floor than when I got mine cut, and I got alot cut off.

It has taken alot of getting used to, but I'm getting there. I don't think I'll be doing this again. He looks so different without his curls, but now it'll be easy and it's so much cooler. This summer weather is nasty and I can't wait for it to be over.
