M.I.A.

I have so many updates to do. Sorry it's been so long since I have posted. Well, I have done a few here and there, but there have been so many things I've been meaning to post about and just haven't had the time or energy to do it. I will have to post most of  my pictures later but I'll do a few now. Things have been busy, crazy, hectic, and so much more. I am sure many of you can relate :-)

But I'm back on the Blog bandwagon and ready to put a decent post on here.

I'll start with our recent vehicle purchase. The day after mother's day, May 12, 2008 we bought a brand new silver 2008 Jeep Patriot. It is beautiful. And you know the smell in a new car, mmmm, it smells so good. We have worked so hard to get to this point, and we now, finally, have two reliable vehicles which gives me so much peace of mind. And even though it's an SUV, it's smaller and gets really decent gas milage (which we all could use a car with that, seeing how gas prices are soaring up to $4 a gallon now).

Next, I was sick for about a week and a half with some terrible flu or something. I was achey all over, was running a fever, had a sore throat, cough, possible migraine and problems with my sinuses. I was just messed up. Then Vin got it (when he was running a fever, it felt like he was being cooked), and lastly, Sy got it as well. So, that's one reason it kinda seemed like I fell off the face of the earth. But, we are all better, and sooooooooo incredibly thankful for good health.

On May 18th, Drew and I had our 7th, yep, 7th wedding anniversary. I can't believe it has been that long. I am crazy in love with him and continue to fall in love with him more and more everyday. I love my sexy man (I was sick so we didn't get to do much celebrating, we had to postpone and I will write when we do finally get to celebrate).

On May 28th, Drew had his birthday. It's been busy busy. We went up to the cabin in Prescott for Memorial weekend. It was amazing to have some time off work and enjoy my family. Then it gets better. The first day there, it snowed. Yeah, I thought we were going to BBQ for Memorial weekend like we usually do, and it ended up raining and snowing (twice). It was Sy's first time seeing snow and he was so dang cute. He woke up from his nap. He was just wearing socks. He walked on the deck and onto the snow. Then he realized his socks were getting wet. He had such a funny look on his face. I think he initially thought it was like cotton or clouds or something. He didn't really know what it was. We had snow ball fights and played. The bad part is, I forgot my camera. But it was beautiful.

And now, today, Vin crawled for the very first time. He was so excited and it was so cute.

That's about it. Long enough post, eh?
