So, here I go . . . . .
One of the main reasons I started a blog was for journaling purposes, to keep records (and I thought I'd be better about it than writing in my own journal). I used to be very good at writing in my journal, but since starting my blog, I have only actually written in my journal a handful of times. So, I guess it's good I'm doing it in one form or another.
I saw some stuff on my friend Laura's blog that got me back in check.
As my children are very small, I need to make sure to write down things that happen every day. Or at least as often as I'm able. At the time, I think I'll remember it forever. Then, as time goes by, some things fade. I forget the cute/funny things they say or do. And I don't want to. The only way to keep that with me forever is to write it down, take photographs, and record it on video.
Henry B. Eyring has talked about journals and the jist of it was "I'm not giving you these experiences just for yourself. Write them down."
I need to record these things for my children to read, later on in the future, to enjoy it, and to see how I have seen the ways our Heavenly Father blesses our family, which he does, every single day of my life.

Vin is 21 months old. He has 8 teeth with 6 coming in as we speak. He can say mama, daddy, nooooo, cracker, milk, ni ni (night night), food, cah cah (car car), show show (movie or show on tv), Sy Sy, owl, cow, moon, animal, dog, wait, hi, tank oo (thank you), peese (please), cheese, apple, and shoe. He is learning at least 3 or 4 new words a day. He also knows many of the animal noises. If you say the name of the animal, he'll make the noise. He's into saying the same word twice (as you can tell from the list above). He is really good with sign language and knows quite a few signs. The movies he loves are Monsters Inc and Aladdin. The tv shows are Little Einsteins and Sesame Street. He likes Elmo. He loves loves loves to be out doors: playing in the sandbox, going bike riding, or for walks in the stroller. If he's outside, he's one happy kid. AND- He went poo poo on the potty on Monday. YAH!
Sy is almost 5 1/2 years old. He is loving kindergarten. He is so smart, already reading. He picks up and learns thing so well. He really focuses and is determined. He loves to play and act like a dog. He also loves to play camp or build a fort. He is all boy and loves everything related to that. He has an imagination that would absolutely blow your mind. He is fun, exciting and creative. He loves the outdoorsy stuff as well. He would go camping (for reals in a tent) everyday if it was up to him. He loves going on walks, hikes, bike rides, the park, swimming, etc. He is so good about playing with his brother and is very patient with him. They are definitely good friends.
I love my boys.
